About

Welcome, I’m so glad you’ve made it here! On this page, I’d like to tell you a little about myself, my professional experiences, and what you can expect in treatment.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a small boutique practice in South Tampa, FL, my hometown community, providing individualized, quality behavioral health services to teens, college students, young professionals, and adults across the lifespan. I earned my clinical psychology doctoral degree from the APA-Accredited Florida Institute of Technology, with an emphasis in integrated behavioral health. Having worked in various medical and behavioral health centers, I have come to believe healing involves the whole person. This includes your emotional, cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual health. My counseling style is to partner with you to help find meaning and balance among these unique and important aspects of your identity. I use evidence-based strategies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you navigate personal challenges and identify opportunities for growth.

My counseling approach is warm, supportive, strengths-based and solution-focused. My hope is that you’ll gain a greater sense of your resilience and capacity to manage life’s uncertainties, transitions, and challenges, and to do so with humor, grace, and acceptance.

I also have specialized training and expertise in medical psychology and the behavioral management of several health conditions, including chronic medical illness (such as diabetes, chronic fatigue and pain), weight management, insomnia and sleep disorders, and disordered eating. To learn more about how I can help you optimize your wellness, visit the Services page.
